TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - This weekend, the Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association (FNIA) is hosting the Frenchtown Heritage Festival.
The festival will feature local food, fitness, art, and music.
One goal of the festival is to improve the neighborhood's reputation by tapping into local history and channeling local businesses.
The Frenchtown Heritage Festival will take place along the 400 block of West Georgia Street.
FNIA is a volunteer-based organization, and this is the first year the group will be hosting the festival.
The festival began in 2011 and was previously run by neighborhood activist and artist Annie Harris.
