TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Another COCA Connection, where we highlight arts and culture in the community. This week's edition we are spotlighting Luther D. Wells, who is directing the production, "Radio Golf".
Wells is a seasoned director, who is currently a professor and the Associate Director of Theatre in the Department of Visual Arts, Humanities and Theatre at Florida A & M University. He is in his 24th year of service at the university.
The Miami native earned a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from FAMU and also earned a Master of Fine Arts from Ohio State University. Wells has directed many other productions including "The Dumb Waiter", "Gem of the Ocean", and "The Colored Purple".
"Radio Golf" is play presented by Florida A & M University's Essential Theatre. This play is scheduled to run Feb. 8 through the 12th.
