TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Children's Home Society of Florida is gearing up for its annual fall fundraiser, Wish Upon A Star.
Wish Upon A Star is a "southern-proper themed gala complete with skeet shoot, bourbon bar, southern cuisine, silent and live auctions, and an array of outdoor entertainment."
Children's Home Society of Florida is the state's leading provider of services to vulnerable children and families, including kids including children who have been abused or neglected and those in need of counseling and guidance.
All of the money raised stays local, supporting more than 4,300 children each year.
Wish Upon A Star is Saturday, November 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Dover's Eagle Hill Pavilion (534 Dover Road in Havana). Tickets start at $500 per couple. A table of eight is $1,500.
