MIDWAY, FL - "Every Little Step," is not only a chart-topping hit song by Singer and Performer Bobby Brown, but now the title of his new book released June 13th.

Brown got his start at age 14 in a singing group called 'New Edition.'

He later became a solo artist, and released his 1988 album titled "Don't Be Cruel."

WTXL's Christine Souders spoke with Bobby Brown about the book, which includes everything from the tragic losses he's experienced, the deaths of his ex-wife Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Cristina to what he has in store for the future.

It's been four years since the death of Whitney Houston, whom Brown was married to for several years.

His rocky marriage with Houston has been in the headlines on different occasions, including drug abuse between the two, and reality show, "Being Bobby Brown."

Whitney Houston died February 2012. Medical Examiner determined prescription drugs contributed to her untimely death.

Three years later, Brown's daughter, Bobbi Cristina died at age 22-years-old.

She was found unresponsive in a bathtub and spent a few months in a coma before her passing.

Brown writes in his book about what it was like to lose the two most important women in his life to essentially the same fate.

He talked with Christine about how writing it was also therapeutic and a way to cope with their deaths.

So what's next for Bobby Brown? He has a new food line and book, and he plans to focus on those for the time being.
