...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CST FOR CENTRAL
LAUDERDALE AND COLBERT COUNTIES...
At 627 PM CST, the public reported flooding of numerous secondary
roads and low lying areas across the warned area. Bear Creek at
Bishop was reporting moderate flooding at 6:27 PM this evening, with
levels continuing to rise.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Killen, Cherokee,
Littleville, Lexington, St. Florian and Underwood-Petersville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If you encounter a flooded roadway, always be
sure to turn around, don't drown.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
