MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Now that the core of low pressure is pushing east of our region, expect gradual clearing through the area for Thursday as dry air moves in from the north. This will keep the end of the work week quiet weather-wise, before more moisture returns for the late weekend and next week.

Thursday: Winds from the east/north-east will continue today as low pressure moves away from our local area. Some moisture on this back flow will allow for widespread cloud cover early on, with a slight chance of a rain shower (20% coverage). Morning lows are starting off in the mid to upper 60s. The cooler influence of a northeast wind and clouds will help keep highs below average, with numbers in the lower to mid 80s. More sunshine is expected before sunset.

Your Beach and Boating forecast information along with your Thursday Tide Times is available below:

Friday: Dry air and calm winds will keep us cool in the morning, with forecast lows in the lower to mid 60s. More sunshine is anticipated as dry air stays overhead. This will help highs reach average or above average levels with numbers at or above 90°.

Saturday and Sunday: We'll climb back to at or slightly above average levels for temperatures as high pressure stays in control east of our region. It will allow more southerly winds to return, re-fueling rain opportunities. Expect morning lows in the upper 60s on Saturday and near 70° on Sunday. Highs are forecast to reach the lower 90s. Rain chances return with minimal coverage on Saturday (< 20%) and isolated coverage on Sunday (30%).

Monday through Wednesday: More moisture is forecast to return, keeping us in a fairly typical weather pattern for this time of year. Expect more of a June-like pattern with lows in the lower 70s and highs in the lower 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day, with coverage at around 40%.
