TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Community College men's basketball team is 1-1 on the season under new head coach Mark White. White may be new, but he knows how tough the Panhandle Conference is, and he knows there's much work that needs to be done.
The Eagles looked to fine tune some things Thursday night in their home opener against Hillsborough. TCC jumped out the the early lead, and never looked back, going on a 30 point run at one point to run away with the 94-57 win.
Daishon Smith led the Eagles with 18 points, while Ryan Johnson contributed 13 in the win. In total, six players were in double figures. The Eagles take the floor at the Eagledome on Saturday at 2:00 when they welcome in St. Petersburg College.
