TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A rescue aircraft carrying passengers aboard a plane forced to make an emergency landing at TLH Tuesday is now enroute to Chicago.
United officials say Flight 1239 was heading from Miami to Chicago. The Boeing 747 aircraft landed safely with 147 customers and 6 crew members. No injuries were reported.
The substitute plane was flown in from Houston to continue the flight to Chicago around 10:30 Tuesday evening.
