TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department says two suspects are on the loose after an armed robbery at the Envision Credit Union on Apalachee Parkway.
According to the TOPS website, police responded to the 3100 block of Apalachee Parkway around 9:57 a.m. TPD confirmed to WTXL ABC 27 that they were called out to the credit union in reference to a bank robbery.
They say that the robbery happened around 9:55 a.m. Tuesday morning. Officers say that two suspects entered the business armed with handguns.
The suspects then demanded money from the bank employees and ran away from the business after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects were described as two black males both wearing tan pants, lime green reflective construction type shirts and dark colored shoes.
Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident and the bank employees are working with investigators from TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit to identify the suspects.
