TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department has identified the person found in a roadway early Tuesday morning as Antonio D. Randolph Jr. 

Randolph passed away from his injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing. 


The Tallahassee Police Department says a person found in a roadway early Tuesday morning has died.

TPD was called to the area of Glenda Drive and Pepper Drive by a passerby about a person laying in the roadway at about 2:25 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers and emergency personnel who provided the victim medical attention were unable to revive the person, who passed away from injuries.

TPD's Violent Crimes Unit members are interviewing witnesses and processing the scene.
