TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) - After a successful revitalization of downtown Tifton, community leaders say they're ready to take on a new project.
They want to focus on the Phillipsburg and Unionville neighborhoods, near Matt Wilson Elementary School.
Tifton's mayor says, the area is riddled with crime, as well as run down properties.
Community leaders want to see a change in the area.
The mayor says, there are a variety of options for the area, but they want to hear from residents.
