TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis and the Tallahassee Fire Department kicked off Fire Prevention Week with an open house at TFD’s Station 16 Sunday.
This year’s Fire Prevention Week theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out.” The focus is on the importance of ensuring families and neighbors have not just one, but two exits out of every room to evacuate during a fire.
