(WTXL) - Members of a Florida church youth group are stuck in Haiti amid violent protests over the price of gas.
Riots erupted in the island nation after the government announced a plan to raise the price of gasoline between .38 .51 cents a gallon.
The demonstrations have forced the cancellation of flights to and from Haiti/
So the group from the Tampa area can't leave.
As of now the group is safe, but they do not know when they will be able to get a flight to take the teens home.
