TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Hurricane Michael has come and gone, and now it is time to focus on recovery and clean up.
There was everything from trees down on power lines, to trees on houses, fences, garages, almost everything, but through all the devastation, there was hope too.
Neighbors were out working and helping one another, cutting tree branches that nearly missed their homes.
One woman says she’s thankful that the tree that did fall down near her house didn’t hit a power line.
"Didn’t block my drive way, didn’t break the power lines except for on my other house it’s all good," said Flo Harmony, Tallahassee resident.
Harmony said she is grateful for the city doing so much and for the crews that are trying to get Tallahassee back to the way it was.
