TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The Tallahassee Police Department is putting on two events for the community, one could save your child's life.
Officers are doing a child seat safety check. On Friday, technicians will inspect child safety seats to verify they are properly installed. Florida law requires that all children six years of age or younger ride in a federally approved child restraint device to provide protection for the child.
Take part in a open dialogue with the police department on Thursday called Evening with a Chief. It's from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Ford Community Center.
