TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man was arrested for stabbing a family member after the relative refused to take drugs.

Johnny Pryor, 61, was arrested by the Tallahassee Police Department.

On March 27 around 11:12 p.m., TPD responded to a stabbing on Ridge Road.

The victim told officers that he and Pryor were at a home on Ridge Road when the two of them got into an argument. The victim said Pryor has a drug issue, and offered him drugs.

The victim informed officers he refused and scolded Pryor, which led to Pryor becoming angry and stating he would kill the victim.

The police report states Pryor pulled out a pocket knife, and stood over the victim, who was sitting down at the time.

When the victim stood up, Pryor attacked and stabbed him. The victim said he told Pryor he had cut him, and Pryor told him to get out of the house.

The victim said when he called 911, Pryor ran into the neighborhood with the knife.

The victim was injured and transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds to his shoulder, abdomen, and hand.

Pryor was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on March 30.

His bond is set at $10,000 and he is to have no contact with the victim.
