LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for murder.
On Nov. 23, deputies were on patrol in the area behind the Woodville Ball Park, and found a vehicle with Dewayne Nelson dead inside.
Through investigation, LCSO detectives have obtained warrants for the arrest of 38-year-old Damon Gilbert in connection with the homicide.
He is wanted on charges of first degree homicide, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, shooting at occupied vehicle, and carrying a concealed firearm.
