TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A familiar face in the tech world stopped in Tallahassee Wednesday.
Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, spoke at the Power Forward Speaker Series at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
Wozniak, along with Steve Jobs, founded Apple back in 1976. He left the company in 1981. Jobs passed away in October 2011 after serving as the CEO and chairman of the company since its creation. Wozniak is currently the Chief Scientist for Fusion-io.
He was named a speaker of the series in August at the Tallahassee Chamber Conference in Amelia Island, FL. In September, WTXL spoke to Wozniak about how his career took off.
The series is a joint effort between the Florida State University College of Business and the First Commerce Credit Union. He spoke at the event Wednesday at 3:30pm.
WTXL Technology Reporter Morgan Moore spoke to Wozniak before the event Wednesday.
