TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Accused quadruple murderer Henry Segura had two hearings Thursday before he heads to trial on Monday.
He could face the death penalty if convicted for the 2010 murders of his girlfriend and her three children.
The day's testimony was all about cell phone records.
Segura's attorney argued that some of the data was flawed in trying to prove he was near his girlfriend's residence on the night she and her three children were killed.
Several experts were brought in to go over how cell phone data is collected and whether it's possible the records could be inaccurate.
The state argued that providers like Verizon use the data every day to function and the data is accuracy enough to be included at trial.
The judge sided with the prosecution. So those cell phone records will be allowed.
