OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says 60,000 pounds of Busch Beer spilled on I-10 westbound early Wednesday morning.

Troopers say it happened around 2:40 a.m. near mile marker 45.

They say a semi-trailer truck, driven by Michael Powell, 44, of Simpsonville, S.C., was traveling in the outside lane when he failed to maintain his lane, causing the truck to overturn.

As a result, an estimated 60,000 pounds of Busch Beer was thrown from the trailer.

Powell suffered minor injuries in the crash but was not hospitalized for his injuries. He was cited for careless driving.
