THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Thomas County deputies said that they have arrested a man in connection with a What-A-Burger shooting on U.S. 19.
Lt. Tim Watkins at the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said that Sunday evening around 9 p.m., they arrested Kemarreom Deshud Bryant, who they charged with 5 counts of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting on Dec. 17.
Deputies said that they received information that he was back in town, saying that since the shooting he was in Tallahassee trying to sell one of the weapons used, an AK-47.
They said that during the incident a fight broke out and 15 to 20 shots were fired. Two people were taken to the hospital but have since been released.
A second man was arrested as well, Jontae Rashe Scott, and was charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and possession of marijuana.
Two females were taken into custody as well but were later released after being interviewed.
Deputies said they are still looking for two additional suspects in connection to the shooting.
