TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - One person is dead after being rear-ended on I-10 in Tallahassee early Thursday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Igor Chirilov was traveling on I-10 Westbound around 2 a.m. when he hit the car in front of him. Troopers say the impact of the crash caused the two cars to travel into a ditch on the side of the road, West of the 209A exit ramp.
The driver of the car that was hit by Chirilov has died. Troopers have not released any information on who that person might be as they are waiting to notify next of kin. A passenger that was inside the car that was rear-ended is said to be in critical condition.
Meanwhile, officials say 30-year-old Chirilov was not injured in the crash.
