TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Monday young women in our community are learning they can dream big.

WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live Monday morning to tell how those young women are learning to aim high.

The Oasis Center for Women and Girls is hosting the Day Camp Girls Can Be President.

The camp is teaching young women that there is no job that a woman can't do and that includes become the president of the Unites States.

The Day Campers will learn about women in politics, starting with Shirley Chisholm.

Chisholm was the first woman to run for a major party's presidential nomination.

The Oasis Center regularly hosts camps and events for young girls to teach them to strive for success and learn about women in history.

It's designed for girls ages five to thirteen.

Monday's camp starts at 8 a.m.

The next camp will be Spring Break. That begins March 18 and includes a full week of learning about female trailblazers.
