More details revealed in College Club apartments shooting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department says that a home invasion turned into a homicide at College Club Townhomes on Tuesday.

They said that an investigation revealed the suspects arrived an apartment with the intent to commit an armed robbery. 

The residents inside used a gun to protect themselves from the suspects. 

One of the armed robbers, Laron Fryson, was shot and later pronounced deceased at the hospital.  Another suspect, Alvin Green, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was hospitalized.

A third suspect, Tony Hill, sustained no injuries. 

As a result of an investigation, TPD has charged Alvin Green and Tony Hill with homicide and home invasion robbery.

The Violent Crimes Unit is also investigating another home invasion robbery on Stone Road on June 6 at 8:15 p.m. to determine if it is related to the homicide on South Adams Street.
