JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a Marianna man is dead after he had a medical episode and crashed into a tree.
Troopers say that Timothy McCrary, 57, was driving his Ford F-150 west on Meadowview Road on Monday around 7:30 p.m.
The 11-year-old passenger told FHP that McCrary seemed to have be having a medical episode before the Ford traveled off the road and into a ditch before hitting a tree.
McCrary was transported to the Jackson Hospital were he later died.
The passenger was not injured in the crash.
