MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - A group of people from Marianna decided to take church to the old west.
The Broken Horn Ranch and Town have started a church where you worship while wearing your best Cowboy get-up.
It's not your typical church service. Over the past eight years, The Broken Horn Ranch and Town has been known for hosting events like gun shows and educational field trips.
Now it is known as a place of worship.
"Everybody wanted to do a cowboy church and put it together and just keep adding things together on it so that we can bring people out here and enjoy the old town and do a church service at the same time," said Gary Mack, The Broken Horn Ranch and Town Owner.
Members of The Broken Horn Ranch and Town started this church service a few months ago but they're already adding new hands on activities to give people more of a hands on experience to learn about the Wild Wild West.
"Right now the town is under construction. We're remodeling adding a few things here and there and were gonna have pretty good events here," said Jason Mack, member of The Broken Horn Ranch and Town.
The Broken Horn Ranch holds church every Sunday and potlucks every third Sunday.
Members say they plan to finish renovations by November.
