(RNN) - A Florida man allegedly stole a pickup truck and was being followed by sheriff's deputies when he pulled into a parking lot, donned a welder's mask and started watching the eclipse.
That's when the law rolled up and quickly made its presence known.
The Orange County Intrepid Auto Theft Unit arrested Joscan Feliciano Rosado, 22, while he was standing by the stolen vehicle in the Harbor Freight parking lot in Kissimmee, FL, safely viewing the eclipse with the welding helmet on.
He never saw them coming.
