TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Maclay Fine Arts Department hosting the 2nd annual "Celebration of the Arts" event this afternoon.
The event showcased the visual and performing arts with live performances, interactive booths, games, and even some surprise entertainment.
The event was open for all students, pre-school through 12th grade.
Organizers say it's important to recognized the arts and encourage students of all ages to be creative.
The day also included shorts acts from the middle and upper school drama students, the band, orchestra and the glee club singers.
