THOMASVILLE, GA -- The City of Thomasville is promising lower utility bills for its customers.
Thanks to Public Power Week, which recognizes the importance of public power in local communities, the city is reducing power costs by 25%.
For residential customers, the city says the reducing means a savings of about $54 per year. For small businesses, the savings could be as much as $126 per year. The savings are based on an average usage of 1500 kWh and 3500 kWh’s per month, respectively.
The changes take effect with bills dated on or after October 6th.
