UPDATE (April 18, 2013 - 12:20 P.M.)

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Local runners will be gathering this weekend to finish the length of the Boston Marathon that those at the famous race were not able to complete because of a pair of deadly bombings.

Badass Fitness is hosting a "5.2 at 5 for Boston" on Sunday.

"We chose 5.2 miles because many Boston runners were stopped at mile 21, so this is a way for us to finish the marathon for them," said Shannon Colavecchio with Badass Fitness.

There is no fee, but donations will be collected to give to American Red Cross.

CHANGE OF VENUE

Because of large response to the event, organizer Shannon Colavecchio says they are now moving the run to Southwood. The run will still begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, but will now begin at the Turkey Trot starting point at 4055 Esplanade Way in Southwood.
