LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer caught fire on I-10 eastbound Thursday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, it happened around 5 a.m. Thursday near the 194 mile marker (in between the Midway and Capital Circle exits).
They say a tractor trailer was traveling eastbound on I-10 when the driver of the truck heard some "unusual sounds" coming from the vehicle.
The driver then pulled into a rest area and got out of his vehicle to discover that the truck was on fire.
The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to the fire and was able to extinguish the fire without further incident.
No injuries have been reported.
