TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol is on scene after a tractor-trailer flipped on I-10 westbound near the Centerville Road overpass.

According to troopers, the incident happened just before 10 a.m. about three miles away from the Thomasville Road exit.

FHP says the truck driver was driving in the outside lane when he swerved to avoid debris in the road. The driver then over-corrected the steering wheel and caused the semi-truck to roll over into the median, completely blocking the inside lane and partially blocking the outside lane.

The driver of the truck and a passenger inside the truck suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Westbound traffic is being diverted through the emergency lane until the truck is removed.

The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by the Leon County EMS and Leon County Fire and Rescue.
