Roads reopened after fiery car crash in Crawfordville

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Wakulla County Sheriff's office responded to a crash in the area of Martin Luther King Blvd and Steeplechase Road Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies said a car was traveling in the area when it went off road, crashed into a tree and caught on fire.

The department, along with multiple first responders, responded to the area and briefly shut down traffic.

The driver was rescued from the car and transported to the hospital in stable condition.

By 4:18 p.m., roads were reopened in the area and the fire that started after the crash was extinguished.
