BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) — East College Street in Bainbridge has reopened after a sinkhole shut down a stretch of the road for hours.
Bainbridge Public Safety says the deep sinkhole developed Thursday on College Street in front of Family Bank.
For several hours, college Street to Rose Circle was blocked to allow the City of Bainbridge Street Department to make necessary repairs.
Those repairs were completed Thursday around 4 p.m.
