GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) — The Georgia Bureau of investigation says a homicide investigation has been initiated after a man was found dead inside a vehicle in Grady County.
Authorities have identified the victim as Cameron Wooten.
On Thursday at about 4:22 am, the Grady County Sheriff’s Office requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's assistance with a death investigation.
Grady County deputies say they received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. When deputies arrived to investigate, they found Wooten deceased inside a vehicle off of Upper Hawthorne Trail.
An autopsy is being performed on Wooten’s body at the GBI Macon Crime Lab on Friday.
This is an active an ongoing investigation.
