TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 21-year-old woman has been arrested for attempted murder after she randomly stabbed a man at her job multiple times.

Wednesday night, around 8:15 p.m., the Leon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a business in the 5000 block of West Tennessee Street about a stabbing.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found 59-year-old Bradley Gauger on the floor of the business, bleeding from the back.

Based on statements from witnesses on scene and Gauger, deputies determined an off-duty employee at the business, 21-year-old Alexis Cutler, got into a fight with a manager and eventually began throwing furniture around the business.

Video of the incident showed Cutler then ran toward Gauger, who turned and tried to walk away from her. Cutler then grabbed Gauger and stabbed him in the back four times with a knife. Cutler then left the business.

While deputies were on scene investigating, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to reports at a nearby convenience store about Cutler causing a scene there.

Cutler was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital to be medically cleared. Gauger is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Thursday morning, LCSO Violent Crimes detectives interviewed Cutler who stated she did not know Gauger but was so angry she stabbed him anyway.

Cutler was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility.
