LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's office is investigating after a body was found inside a small lake in Leon County.
Sunday around 1:30 p.m., deputies responded to a small lake in the 3000 block of Peacock Lane in reference to a body floating on the water.
LCSO Violent Crimes detectives, along with Crime Scene detectives, were called to the scene to investigate. Deputies were unable to determine the cause of death or an identity of the deceased. Both are pending autopsy results.
