CHATTAHOOCHEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Chattahoochee Police Department is conducting an investigation after a body was found in the Cypress Cove Pond area of Chattahoochee River.
Police confirmed limited details to ABC 27 on Thursday.
They say on Wednesday, Sept. 30, Chattahoochee Police received a call at 5:34 p.m. after the body of a deceased black male was found at the Cypress Cove Pond area.
CPD says they are working to identify the individual and his age.
There were no obvious injuries.
Police an investigation is ongoing into the incident.
