QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - In Quincy, men and women kept their word and jumped out of a plane Saturday!

Tadlock Roofing set a goal to raise $10,000 in 24 hours on Giving Tuesday 2017 for the non-profit Boys Town North Florida.

Dale Tadlock and his partners agreed to jump out of a plane if they reached the goal and that incentive helped them raise the money! So Saturday they made good on their promise, flying through the sky in Quincy.

They say, it was a little scary but totally worth it.

"Our fall campaign was 'Falling for Families' so she thought what better ways to 'fall families' than to than to fall out of an airplane so here we are," said Dale Tadlock. "It's all for the kids, all for the girls and boys at Boys Town. That's what it's all about."

Tadlock Roofing also matched the donations, giving another $10,000 to Boys Town.

Dozens of boys and girls from the non-profit were there, cheering the parachuters on.
