TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A group of people living in one Capital City neighborhood are taking security measures into their own hands after multiple home invasions and car burglaries.
Tallahassee police say they've received a lot of calls in the Jackson Bluff neighborhood. Residents believe there's a rise in crime because the street is poorly lit at night.
Andrew Feller and his friends are starting a roadblock and are asking people who drive into the neighborhood where they're going and are writing down license plates.
Police say they're going to be doing more patrols in the Jackson Bluff neighborhood to help keep residents safe.
