TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The girlfriend of a man who murdered two men in 2015 has been charged as an accessory to the crime, according to police.

After being repeatedly told to stop contact with Walter Rayborn, one of the men accused of killing Lance Love and Cornelius Poole, 23-year-old Delynda Aguirre was arrested Monday.

Tallahassee Police Department said Rayborn was arrested in July 2015 when an attempted robbery turned deadly and the two men's bodies were found tied up and shot to death in a bathtub. According to investigators, witnesses said that they saw Rayborn and Aguirre cleaning out Rayborn's truck on the night of the murders. Witness also said they saw Aguirre taking money out of the truck as well.

When investigators asked why she did not tell police everything that happened earlier, she told them she did not know what to do and believed Rayborn would harm her if she testified against him.

Over the next few months, however, investigators said it became increasingly apparent that while Aguirre was saying she feared for her life, she also was in constant contact with Rayborn. Using other inmates as an alibi to place calls and exchange letters, she and Rayborn remained in contact over several months despite a court order to stop.

Aguirre was charged as an accessory for helping Rayborn. Her bond was set at $50,000.
