TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It was all about immigration at a fiery political debate in Tallahassee.
Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran invited Tallahassee Mayor and candidate for governor Andrew Gillum to debate in person Tuesday after Gillum openly and fiercely criticized Corcoran's TV ad against sanctuary states and cities.
The tension was obvious as Corcoran and Gillum faced off.
The debate was sparked by Corcoran's anti-sanctuary cities ad and House Bill 9, which is legislation Corcoran is pushing to eliminate sanctuary cities in Florida.
