TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum is making his voice heard on allowing refugees into the sunshine state.

Gillum, a Democrat, took to twitter Wednesday afternoon, showing his support for Syrian refugees, saying "Tallahassee is a welcoming community & will pursue our best values by accepting refugees who pose no threat to our City #RefugeesWelcome."
Governor Rick Scott joined several governors on Monday, telling congress they would refuse Syrian refugees into their states.
This comes after reports showing one of the Paris attackers posed as a refugee in order to get into France.
