EASTPOINT, Fla. (WTXL) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to help make the area's youth happy on Christmas by providing them new toys.
The FCSO is asking the community to help gather Toys 4 Tots at selected places beginnning Monday, November 13, through Monday, November 20.
Dollar Stores in the county have placed boxes where residents can deposit gifts.
Ace Hardware in Carrabelle and Apalachicola will have the FCSO trailers for people to fill with toys, according to the FCSO Facebook post. The trailers will be there from November 13 - November 20.
"We will need new, unopened toys for both girls and boys (unwrapped please) from newborn to 14 years of age," the post said. "Any new toy, large or small, can help."
