Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- After committing election fraud, Yinka Adeshina was arrested by officers wearing masks and gloves for protection against Ebola, according to the FDLE.

Yinka Abodeda Adeshina ran as a Republican candidate for Florida Governor in the August 2014 primary election.

The Florida Department of Law says Adeshina reported raising $182,000 to the Department of State in hopes to receive additional money because candidates in the state of Florida can collect matching funds from taxpayers if they raise over $150,000 on their own.

The report shows that the donors Adeshina listed do not exist.

The FDLE says they believe "she fabricated donors and addresses to show she had raised more the $150,000".

Adeshina was arrested on October 13th at the Tallahassee Regional Airport.

She was returning from a three-week vacation in Nigeria, a country of "high concern" for Ebola.

According to reports, Adeshina was screened in Atlanta where it was determined she did not show any symptoms of the disease.

However, the arresting officers wore masks and gloves for cautionary purposes.

Adeshina was brought to Leon County Jail and has a $10,000 bond.
