WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WTXL) - Two people were run over by a Florida police officer while watching the super blood wolf moon eclipse Sunday night.

According to a report from WPBF, a West Palm Beach police officer was patrolling a nature preserve around midnight when the officer hit the pair of pedestrians that were lying on the road.

Police believe the pedestrians were there to watch and photograph the super blood wolf moon eclipse in the darkness of the nature preserve.
