TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Florida bee population is on the rise according to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
On Wednesday the department released a statement saying that bee populations in the state have grown by 145 percent over the last 8 years.
Florida has also joined the White House's Honey Bee and Pollinator Strategy along with several other states according to the department.
