GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that broke out Friday night in Greensboro.

Authorities say it destroyed an auto service shop on 10th Street.

The Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call about a building engulfed in flames late Friday night.

The Sheriff's Office said the state fire Marshal's office is now in charge of the investigation. 

Greensboro Fire said at this time the investigation remains open and ongoing. A final determination into the cause, nature and origin of the fire remains under current investigation.   

According to Greensboro Fire, damages sustained from the fire were estimated at around $75,000.
