HAVANA, FL -- A female driver killed in a crash at the intersection of Fairbanks Ferry and Barber Roads in Havana Wednesday has been identified.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 31 year old Kineta Sampson was driving West on Fairbanks Ferry Road just after 7 p.m. when she failed to make a curve.
Troopers say Sampson's car then swerved into the Northbound lane. Sampson tried to over correct which caused the car to spin into a large brick mailbox, troopers said.
The crash blocked portions of the road, according to the FHP website.
Troopers say Sampson, who was wearing a seat belt, died on scene.
