Florida A&M University is asking for continued support as they struggle with lower enrollment numbers. FAMU's president, Elmira Mangum says there are 9,500 students enrolled for this fall semester. Since 2008, state aid has fallen 28 percent and student fees have gone up 65 percent. Plus, recently, the men's golf and tennis teams were suspended to address a deficient in the school's athletic program. University leaders say more students could help the budget. Classes at FAMU begin August 25th.
